The idea behind MegaSceneryEarth 2.0 is to provide
high-resolution photo-scenery for as much of the world as
quickly as possible... and at affordable, low prices! This is
not 90's style satellite imagery... Our source now delivers up
to 50cm/pixel resolution derived from aerial imagery to provide
crisper, cleaner, more real scenery for FSX.
This means YOU see more of the REAL world in your
sim!
We've skipped all the resource-hogging addition of autogen
objects (often not needed with photoscenery) and seasonal
colour-matching (which results in download and data sizes 4 or 5
times the original - not practical) and produced 6 complete
states of coverage in the USA, with more states coming out each
and every week.
The result is that you get to enjoy more and more photoreal
flying in FSX, which allows REAL and full VFR flying to be
undertaken... If you see it on a VFR chart for the area, you
will see it in MegaSceneryEarth!
